TL;DR
Content, Community & Search Strategist (SEO/AEO): Producing high-converting content for websites and forums with an accent on search engine and AI engine optimization. Focus on creating engaging community-driven content on Reddit, executing link-building strategies, and managing complex SEO/AEO accounts.
Location: Must be based in the United States (Eastern or Central time zones). Hybrid options available in New Orleans and New York City.

What you will do
- Develop and execute Reddit strategies, including community management, content creation, and moderation for multiple accounts.
- Produce SEO and AEO optimized website content such as blog posts, service pages, FAQs, and white papers.
- Implement search best practices including keyword targeting, schema markup, and local SEO strategies.
- Conduct link-building and digital PR to earn citations from journalists and increase domain authority.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to communicate strategies to clients and adapt work based on feedback.
- Analyze performance using Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and SEMrush to provide client reporting.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- Proven experience posting on Reddit and understanding of platform mechanics (Subreddits, mods, flairs, Reddit Pro).
- Working knowledge of SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to shift tone across different clients and formats.
- Experience in professional copywriting or digital marketing.
- Ability to handle public criticism from online communities professionally.
Nice to have
- 2-5 years of professional experience in content marketing or SEO.
- Previous experience working in a marketing agency environment.
- Degree in English, Marketing, PR, Journalism, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with tools like SEMrush, Google Search Console, Profound, or Otterly.AI.
- Experience with link-building services like HARO, Qwoted, or Featured.
