Senior Scrum Master

TL;DR

Location: US - Remote (not open to residents of California; up to 10% travel to facilities, supplier sites, audits, or conferences)

What you will do

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams in self-management, cross-functionality, and high-performance agile practices.
• Identify and remove obstacles impeding team progress.
• Collaborate with Product Owner on backlog maintenance, prioritization, and communicating product vision.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Foster transparency, collaboration, accountability, and protect team from interruptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years as Scrum Master or similar agile role in IT/Software Development
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and agile methodologies
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PSM, SAFe or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience with agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
• Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict-resolution, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proven coaching and mentoring in agile practices

Nice to have

• Experience in scaled agile frameworks (e.g., LeSS)
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
• Background in software development or product management
• Experience in distributed or hybrid teams
