TL;DR
Senior Account Executive (Federal/SaaS): Leading business development with federal civilian agencies to drive pipeline and revenue with an accent on the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and other federal civilian departments. Focus on identifying and closing direct sales engagements, upgrading existing accounts, and managing the complete customer lifecycle.
Location: 100% remote anywhere in the US

What you will do
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to generate pipeline and revenue within the assigned federal territory.
- Identify and close direct sales engagements while upgrading and expanding existing accounts.
- Build and leverage strong client relationships to expand into new buying centers.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Services teams to create compelling business propositions.
- Utilize channel partners and distributors to extend reach and impact within the territory.
- Manage territory forecasts and document sales progress using Salesforce CRM.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, preferably in SaaS.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and selling experience within the Federal Civilian space.
- Proficiency in using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gong) for account planning and prospecting.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
