What you will do

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and local legislation.
• Perform US GAAP vs Local GAAP reconciliations and provide detailed commentary on variances.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, including VAT, Corporate Tax, and internal transfer pricing policies.
• Support the internal controls framework (RACM procedures) and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) process documentation.
• Liaise cross-functionally within the Finance department to ensure adherence to control activities.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting with increasing responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles for local GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
• Deep understanding of accounting procedures, business processes, and operations.
• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Must be based in Romania
