TL;DR

Privacy Governance Professional (Cybersecurity): Designing and managing a structural framework to ensure "Private by Design" infrastructure with an accent on bridging legal requirements and technical system architecture. Focus on developing technical privacy standards, managing PIMS, and leading privacy-by-design reviews for cloud services and internal systems.

Location: Remote. Must be based in Portugal, Brazil, Czech Republic, or Spain. Required overlap: At least 3.5 hours daily between 9:00 and 17:00 Prague time.

What you will do

• Manage and continuously improve the privacy governance framework and handle privacy risks.
• Develop technical privacy standards for data minimization, pseudonymization, and encryption.
• Maintain the Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) with a focus on technical data lineage.
• Lead privacy-by-design (PbD) reviews during architectural design for cloud services and internal IT systems.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity architects to align processing security with privacy-by-default requirements.
• Review complex vendor contracts and architectures from legal and technical due diligence perspectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law (preferably EU law) or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in privacy or compliance.
• Deep understanding of GDPR and related privacy laws.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2.
• English proficiency (B2/C1 or higher).
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF, or Zachman.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting AI governance, model risk assessments, or responsible AI review processes.
• Knowledge of zero trust architecture and its implications for data privacy.
• Certifications such as CIPT (Certified Information Privacy Technologist) or CDPSE (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer).
