Senior Security Engineer (AI/Cloud)

What you will do

• Partner with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to mitigate security risks across cloud, application, and AI/ML environments.
• Lead security initiatives in AI/ML Security, DevSecOps, Application/Product Security, or Cloud Security.
• Design and operate scalable security controls, automation, and tooling.
• Drive threat modelling, secure design reviews, and risk assessments for new features and infrastructure changes.
• Detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents, including root cause analysis.
• Communicate complex security topics to both technical teams and C-level leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Deep expertise in at least one domain: AI/ML Security, DevSecOps, Application Security, or Cloud Security.
• Strong builder mindset with the ability to script and automate detections and architectures.
• Understanding of modern threats, including software supply chain, API, and cloud security.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with audiences from engineers to CISO level.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model from Berlin, Cologne, Barcelona, Madrid, or Valencia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes security in AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of EU regulations such as GDPR, NIS2, and DORA.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Go.
