What you will do

• Define system objective functions and translate mission needs into a coherent, real-world product architecture.
• Integrate controls, sensing, navigation, software, propulsion, and avionics into a unified system.
• Lead critical architecture decisions and execute high-stakes technical trade-offs.
• Establish rapid design-test-learn loops using simulation and hardware iteration to validate knowledge.
• Build and lead an elite engineering team, maintaining a high technical bar and sharp execution.
• Identify high-risk areas early and design experiments to reduce technical uncertainty.

Requirements

• Strong academic foundation in aerospace engineering, physics, robotics, or control systems.
• Deep expertise in dynamics, estimation, controls, and system-level thinking.
• Proven experience with high-dynamic or high-reliability systems through full flight or test cycles.
• Ability to move between architecture design, simulation, coding, and hands-on testing.
• Experience with system trade studies and integrating complex subsystems.
• Ability to use AI tools to accelerate tangible engineering workflows.
