TL;DR

Founding Product Designer (Web3/Data): Designing a canonical data layer for on-chain finance to turn fragmented blockchain data into institutional-grade systems of record with an accent on complex data visualization and scalable design systems. Focus on building intuitive interfaces for power users, crafting high-fidelity dashboards, and establishing the design function from the ground up.

Location: On-site in New York or Remote from any geographical location (requires 2 hours overlap with NYC mornings, 10am-12pm ET, Mon-Thurs)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product design from high-level information architecture to micro-interactions and visual polish.
• Develop high-fidelity data visualizations to transform intricate on-chain behavior and messy datasets into intuitive dashboards.
• Build hirify.global’s first design system, including components, patterns, and layout structures from scratch.
• Prototype novel interaction models for chain abstractions, wallet flows, and cross-protocol analytics.
• Establish the company's design culture, rituals, and documentation standards from day zero.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to translate technical schemas and system constraints into elegant interfaces.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing data-rich products, analytical tools, or financial interfaces.
• Proven mastery in turning dense, noisy, or abstract information into legible and intuitive UIs.
• Domain familiarity with crypto, fintech, trading, or financial data products.
• Expertise in creating scalable design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Ability to design for power-users, including advanced filters and dense-but-readable layouts.
• Must be able to overlap 2 hours with NYC mornings (10am-12pm ET) Mon-Thurs.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with crypto analytics, explorers, or attribution systems.
• Background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or complex analytical interfaces.
• Technical fluency in SQL, data tools, or charting libraries.
• Previous experience as a founding designer in an early-stage startup.
