What you will do

• Prepare and analyze industrial waste samples according to established protocols and procedures.
• Calculate and report analytical results accurately and within required timelines.
• Operate laboratory instrumentation, specifically GC, ICP, and Calorimeter.
• Maintain lab housekeeping, including cleaning glassware and managing sample disposal.
• Adhere strictly to the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan.
• Collect samples from tank trailers, which may involve climbing ladders and working outdoors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift 50lbs and climb stairs/ladders.
• Ability to work onsite in La Porte, TX.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or similar software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Previous experience in an industrial waste laboratory.
