What you will do

• Develop and maintain 2D axisymmetric thermo-mechanical models of gas turbine engines.
• Implement transient mission profiles, including startup, acceleration, steady-state, and shutdown.
• Create 1D SAS network models for cooling flows, leakage paths, and sealing systems.
• Perform simulations using ANSYS, NX Thermal, and Thermal Desktop.
• Automate simulation workflows and boundary condition updates using Python and MATLAB.
• Collaborate with mechanical design and CFD teams to integrate geometry, materials, and operating conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 4–7 years of experience in gas turbine thermal modelling.
• Proven expertise in secondary air systems or whole engine modelling.
