What you will do

• Own full monthly and annual close processes with best-in-class timelines
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements for board and investor reporting
• Manage intercompany transactions, consolidation across US, UK, and Canadian entities
• Handle revenue recognition, hardware COGS, inventory, and depreciation for mixed hardware/software business
• Evaluate, select, and implement modern ERP and finance tools
• Build automated workflows for closes, reconciliations, and reporting
• Coordinate tax compliance and debt facility reporting
• Establish internal controls and support external audit readiness

Requirements

• 6–10 years progressive accounting/finance experience, including 2+ years at venture-backed startup
• Experience as sole or primary finance person at 30–150 employee company
• Strong technical skills: revenue recognition (ASC 606), inventory/hardware accounting, multi-entity consolidation
• International accounting (US + at least one non-US jurisdiction)
• Ability to produce investor-grade financial statements independently
• Experience implementing or migrating ERP systems
• CPA certification

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-native finance tools (e.g., Rillet, Ramp)
• Experience supporting Series B+ fundraise
• Experience with RaaS, debt facilities, or aviation/logistics/robotics
