TL;DR
Intern, Compliance (Insurance Payments): Support the Compliance team with regulatory monitoring, AI-assisted change management, and process automation with an accent on product compliance reviews, client account checks, and workflow improvements. Focus on reviewing client-facing payment screens for regulatory alignment, integrating AI tools for regulatory updates, and building Power Automate flows for ticket management.
Location: Remote, must be located in the US and be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
Rate: $25 USD per hour

What you will do
- Assist in reviewing client accounts for compliance with payment network rules, regulations, and internal standards (60% of time).
- Design and document AI-assisted Regulatory Change Management process, including ingesting, classifying, and summarizing updates.
- Review AI-generated regulatory alerts for accuracy and build workflows for routing changes.
- Build Power Automate flows for Compliance inbox to automate ticket creation and assignment in Jira.
- Support ad hoc projects, research, and process improvements.
- Present learnings at the end of the 8-10 week internship.
Requirements
- Must be located in the US and authorized to work without sponsorship.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Compliance, Legal Studies, Information Systems, Public Policy, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills with high attention to detail.
- Interest in regulatory compliance, payment rules, and workflow automation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot.
- Experience with Jira or Microsoft Power Automate.
