TL;DR

AI Compliance Officer (AI): Design, build, and run compliance program for frontier AI regulation across EU AI Act and global regimes with an accent on translating obligations into operational systems, processes, controls, and cadences. Focus on owning compliance framework, regulator engagement, testing/monitoring programs, audit readiness, and reporting to leadership and Board.

Location: Hybrid in Dublin, IE (at least 3 days/week in office). Location-based hybrid policy requires at least 25% time in offices.

Salary: €200,000 - €255,000 EUR (annual)

What you will do

• Own design, build-out, and maintenance of compliance program for EU AI Act and global AI regimes
• Develop and own compliance policies, controls framework, testing/monitoring programs, and audit readiness
• Partner with Regulatory Legal on regulator engagement, strategy, external communications, and coordinated responses
• Recommend readiness plans for new regulations and present program status, metrics, and risks to leadership and Board
• Own training content for AI regulatory obligations and build/lead a small compliance team

Requirements

• Location: Must work from Dublin office at least 3 days/week
• Experience building/running compliance program in regulated industry (tech, fintech, medtech, data protection, telecoms)
• Hands-on operationalizing complex regulations into controls, documentation, training, reporting
• Work effectively in ambiguity with novel regulation and fast-moving environment
• Direct regulator engagement and relationship-building across jurisdictions
• Strong communication for legal, technical, executive audiences; Board presentations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field

Nice to have

• 8+ years in regulatory compliance owning a program
• Experience with EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, or similar AI frameworks
• Standing up second-line compliance at tech company
• Regulatory filings, inquiries, examinations
• Familiarity with AI development/evaluation/deployment
• Certifications: CCEP, CIPP/E, IAPP AIGP
