Salary: $212,000 — $265,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead the organizational and technical direction of the Checkout team, aligning work with broader company initiatives.
• Manage and mentor a full-stack team of 10–14 engineers, investing in their growth and career trajectories.
• Oversee the end-to-end booking flow, including pricing presentation, payment processing, and booking confirmation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product Marketing, Design, and Data Science.
• Implement an execution framework to detect problems early and enable thoughtful planning and reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering management experience.
• 8+ years of software development industry experience in fast-paced tech environments.
• Proven track record of leading teams operating large-scale, mission-critical production systems.
• Experience growing engineers through promotions and meaningful scope expansion.
• Must reside in a US state where hirify.global, Inc. has a registered entity.

Nice to have

• Expertise in building and operating booking-related systems, payment flows, or high-availability APIs.
• Experience evolving large systems through incremental migration strategies while maintaining velocity.
