What you will do

• Provide direct patient care focusing on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management.
• Collaborate with advanced practice professionals (APPs) and Registered Dietitians in a team-based care model.
• Conduct return visits for APP patients every third visit to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Develop treatment plans and provide medical management for complex or escalated cases.
• Prescribe non-controlled obesity medications and ensure clinical protocols are followed.
• Support the professional development and supervision of APPs.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with board certification as an ABOM diplomate.
• Must be licensed to practice and prescribe in AL, TN, OK, MO, IN, SC or GA.
• Must hold a Letter of Qualification (LOQ) with the IMLC.
• Prior experience with telemedicine and professional "web-side" manner.
• Experience collaborating with APPs and Registered Dietitians.
• Credentialing with insurance payers.
