TL;DR

HR Coordinator (Gamedev): Supporting employees across the studio and delivering people programs with an accent on HR operations, systems administration, and benefits. Focus on improving process efficiency through BambooHR and coordinating the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

Location: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside within Canada

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 a year

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary contact for HR inquiries throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Administer BambooHR, managing employee data, workflows, and generating HR reports.
  • Coordinate benefits enrollments, RRSP coordination, and leave management (PTO, sick leave, parental).
  • Support payroll processes by coordinating salary updates and new hire data with Finance.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment, including job postings and interview coordination.
  • Maintain HR documentation and support internal employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant HR experience.
  • Must reside in Canada and be legally eligible to work there.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment, preferably in technical or startup environments.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and familiarity with HRIS and/or ATS systems.
  • Strong understanding of provincial labour standards and HR best practices.
