What you will do

• Lead the Developer Tooling team within Engineering Foundations to own developer experience systems like CI/CD, test infrastructure, and local environments.
• Define and execute strategy for AI-powered developer productivity, from coding assistance to agentic workflows for planning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Run feedback loops with engineering org to translate developer pain points into reliable improvements and set standards for tooling usability.
• Partner with product engineering leaders and platform teams to ensure tooling supports high-velocity software delivery at scale.
• Drive automation to reduce toil, improve stability, and enable engineers to focus on patient and provider product experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing software engineering teams
• Experience owning developer tooling, platform infrastructure, or internal engineering systems
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, test reliability, and local development workflows
• Hands-on with AI-powered developer tools and agentic workflows
• Track record improving developer velocity, reliability, or code quality at scale
• Experience partnering with product teams as internal customers
