What you will do

• Design and develop RF and AC hardware, including custom PC boards from 0 Hz up to 110 GHz.
• Perform signal integrity analysis and electromagnetic simulations using HFSS, Keysight ADS, MATLAB, and CST.
• Plan and execute design verification and characterization processes for new instruments.
• Manage vendor selection for hardware components and contribute to design documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems engineering, and project management teams to bring instruments to life.
• Utilize advanced lab instrumentation, including VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes, for validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a strong foundation in RF/microwave engineering.
• Relevant experience in RF design and testing through internships, co-ops, or school projects.
• Proficiency with RF simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, Keysight ADS, or MATLAB.
• Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment (VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters).
• PCB design experience using KiCad or similar software.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or C.
