What you will do

  • Grow revenue by securing contracts with state agencies and owning the government sales pipeline and execution process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with elected officials, regulators, and industry associations to influence legislation and shape policies.
  • Develop growth forecasts and bottoms-up hypotheses to prioritize scaling levers and align with annual management targets.
  • Refine sales enablement processes, deal management, sales qualification, and the deal desk.
  • Develop targeted sales strategies and tactical penetration plans for various state and local government agencies.
  • Lead sales team hiring, providing necessary coaching and support.

Requirements

  • Strong background in SaaS enterprise sales, preferably within GovTech or similar regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing $1MM - $15MM+ ARR deals with state governments.
  • Intricate familiarity with government procurement processes and expert-level consultative sales leadership.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a sales team.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and clearly articulate value propositions to senior government executives.
  • Expertise in setting compensation plans and professional recruiting.
