What you will do

• Operate manual and CNC machine tools, including milling machines, lathes, and grinders, to fabricate precise parts.
• Develop detailed manufacturing plans based on engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Conduct rigorous inspections to ensure all machined parts meet strict quality standards and close tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Support production and engineering organizations by delivering machined parts and reworking mechanical components.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Wilton, CT.
• At least 10 years of experience in a multi-disciplinary technical work environment using machine shop equipment.
• Proven expertise in operating manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and surface grinders.
• Ability to machine intricate parts to close tolerances (+/- .01mm) from complex drawings.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in computer-aided machining (CAM).
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under US Export Administration Regulations.
