What you will do

• Perform a range of rough and finish turning, drilling, tapping, boring, facing, and thread cutting operations.
• Machine parts to specifications using mills, lathes, saws, or grinders based on drawings and route sheets.
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic and advanced machine tools, including aligning holding fixtures and cutting tools.
• Measure and test completed units using precision instruments like micrometers and Vernier calipers to ensure conformance.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge.
• Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of machining experience, including the setup and operation of various machine tools.
• Proficiency in using precision instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Phillips, WI.
