What you will do

• Perform basic drill press, lathe, milling machine, and grinding operations.
• Care for and apply turning/plunge and form tools.
• Operate shear vises, tapping machines, and utilize various types of taps and dies.
• Use power hand tools, grinders, belt/disc sanders, and bead blasters.
• Operate power band saws and cut-off saws, selecting appropriate speeds, feeds, and blade types.
• Complete required production paperwork.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to understand and apply work instructions in English.
• Completion of at least one year of an approved vocational program in Machine Technology or equivalent.
• Proficiency in general mathematics and knowledge of machine shop gauges.
• Must be authorized to access U.S. export-controlled information.
