What you will do

• Perform comprehensive testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot and test low and medium voltage switchgear (up to 15 kV class) and relay systems.
• Act as the lead person on projects, overseeing technical execution and providing solutions.
• Conduct power system studies, including short circuit and protective device coordination.
• Generate detailed technical reports and manage job billing processes.
• Contribute to business development by developing scopes, pricing, and estimating man-hours for proposals.

Requirements

• Education: BSEE/BSME, or Electrical Technical School/Military degree with 3+ years experience, or High School diploma with 4+ years experience.
• Certification: Passed NETA (National Electrical Testing Association) exam.
• Knowledge: Proficiency in National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and NFPA standards.
• Skills: Experience in switchgear testing (up to 15 kV) and a strong theoretical understanding of electrical power systems.
• Logistics: Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel 50% (including international travel).
• Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, or TN visas are not eligible).
