What you will do

• Design and program electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom, and security.
• Develop detailed electrical system and lighting design calculations.
• Prepare construction documents in Revit and conduct QA/QC review work.
• Coordinate project details with Owners, Architects, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform code compliance research and respond to contractor RFIs.
• Oversee and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of electrical design experience focusing on power, fire alarm, and communications.
• Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and electrical modeling tools.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and IECC standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Lafayette, LA.
