TL;DR

Account Director, Quantitative Trading (AI): Managing executive and technical relationships with leading buy-side investment firms to deploy frontier AI systems across research and production workflows with an accent on highly technical enterprise sales. Focus on navigating regulated environments, designing scaled deployments, and translating AI capabilities into measurable business value for hedge funds.

Location: Must be based in New York City or San Francisco (Hybrid: 3 days in office per week). Relocation assistance is provided.

Salary: $232K – $350K + Equity

What you will do

  • Manage a focused portfolio of hedge fund and alternative asset management accounts, developing strategic account plans.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles across executive, investment, technology, and compliance teams.
  • Partner with Solutions, Product, Engineering, and Research to design pilots and scaled AI deployments.
  • Identify high-value AI use cases across investment research, data analysis, coding, and workflow automation.
  • Own revenue, consumption, pipeline, and forecast performance for your book of business.
  • Track market structure and AI adoption patterns across systematic investors and buy-side firms.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of experience selling complex enterprise software, platform, API, cloud, data, or AI infrastructure products.
  • 4+ years of experience selling into financial services, ideally hedge funds or asset managers.
  • Proven track record of exceeding annual revenue targets of $2M+ in complex environments.
  • Ability to maintain credibility with both C-suite executives and deeply technical stakeholders (Engineering, AI/ML, Research).
  • Strong understanding of how investment firms utilize data and internal platforms to create differentiated processes.
  • Experience with API-first products, developer platforms, or AI/ML infrastructure.
