NAETC Plant Manager (Automotive): Leading GM's North American in-house die build operation to transform engineering data into stamping dies and automation tooling with an accent on safety, quality, and labor relations. Focus on advancing the vision of zero re-cuts and zero downtime through simulation, digital integration, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Location: Onsite in Flint, Michigan. Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do
- Lead plant safety systems and drive a strong safety culture.
- Own all aspects of plant performance (SPQRCE) and business plan deployment.
- Manage labor relations and partner with HR on talent strategy and UAW contract execution.
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, cost control, and capital planning.
- Champion Industry 4.0 and closed-loop digital manufacturing simulation and feedback loops.
- Represent NAETC with internal stakeholders, global partners, and the local community.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Tool & Die, stamping, or BIW engineering/manufacturing.
- 5+ years of experience leading salaried and UAW-represented skilled trades teams.
- Deep expertise in stamping processes and the full die value stream.
- Working knowledge of digital metrology (laser scanning, CMM) and data-driven process correction.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Must not require immigration sponsorship (H1-B, OPT, STEM OPT, etc.) now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business.
- Experience supporting global manufacturing or engineering organizations.
- Experience with stamping simulation/virtual validation (e.g., AutoForm).
- Exposure to AI/ML applications in manufacturing or process optimization.
