Maintenance Apprentice (Automotive)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot complex machinery and conduct root cause investigations for malfunctions.
• Perform regular equipment inspections and scheduled servicing to prevent breakdowns.
• Apply formal education from an Advanced Manufacturing degree to on-the-job technical tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and management to optimize the work environment.
• Support production goals related to DPMO, OEE, and equipment MTBF.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and maintain strict workplace safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of previous employment with hirify.global.
• Enrollment in an Advanced Manufacturing Associate's Degree program with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Ability to work at least 32 hours per week at the New Braunfels, TX facility.
• Availability for in-person classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting 40 lbs and standing for 10+ hour shifts.
