What you will do

  • Own the Natural channel end-to-end, including strategy, P&L, and results for Sprouts, WFM, Fresh Thyme, and Natural Independents.
  • Lead buyer relationships and maintain a consistent monthly business review cadence to drive strategic alignment.
  • Execute flawless product launches, covering merchandising strategy, promotional plans, and operational readiness.
  • Optimize promo planning and post-event analysis to maximize contribution margins at each retailer.
  • Build a pipeline of incremental opportunities, including void closures, distribution expansion, and secondary placements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Marketing on forecasting and EDI compliance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of CPG sales experience, with at least 2 years calling on Sprouts or Whole Foods Market.
  • Deep understanding of Natural channel economics, including UNFI/KeHE dynamics and distributor models.
  • Proven track record of expanding door counts and successfully launching new items in complex retail environments.
  • Fluency in margin math and disciplined management of trade spend and negotiation of slotting fees.
  • Ability to synthesize SPINS and retailer portal data into compelling sell-in stories.
  • Must be based in the US and available for up to 30% travel.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with and managing broker partners.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides for building dashboards and presentations.
  • Experience thriving in a startup environment and comfort with ambiguity.
