TL;DR

Digital Adoption Specialist (Education): Designing and delivering blended learning solutions to enable colleagues to use digital tools effectively with an accent on behavior change and digital confidence. Focus on translating complex technical requirements into accessible learning experiences and implementing AI-enabled tools for workplace productivity.

Location: Hybrid (Manchester, UK) - Must be based in the UK and able to work 2 days per week in the office

Salary: £49,000 – £53,000 per annum

What you will do

  • Design and deliver blended learning solutions including e-learning, virtual classrooms, and simulations to support digital adoption.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear learning experiences that drive sustained behavior change.
  • Partner with IT, Enterprise Technology, and product owners to align learning interventions with organizational priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops and learning needs analysis sessions, collaborating with the Digital Mentors community.
  • Manage end-to-end learning projects from scoping through to evaluation using models like ADDIE.
  • Stay updated on digital learning trends, AI, and workplace technology to keep approaches future-ready.

Requirements

  • Experience in learning and development, specifically supporting digital or IT-enabled change.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, enterprise systems, and emerging AI-enabled tools.
  • Ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience designing blended learning using various digital tools and platforms.
  • Understanding of digital adoption and behavior change principles.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Manchester.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with LMS, LXP, and authoring tools such as Articulate and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience with agile learning design, design thinking, or user-centered design.
