TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Manchester, UK); Must be based in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).

Salary: £100,000–£115,000

What you will do

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for high-quality, impactful educational research.
  • Lead and oversee the company's research functions as a member of the management board.
  • Manage research services for clients from initial project implementation to closure.
  • Drive growth by identifying opportunities and leading the development of competitive bids and proposals.
  • Implement emerging technologies in research while maintaining high academic rigor.

Requirements

  • Relevant PhD and an established track record of thought leadership.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative psychometrics and research design.
  • Advanced data analytical skills and competence with statistical techniques and software.
  • Senior leadership experience managing research teams and large-scale projects end-to-end.
  • Right to work in the UK (the company is not licensed to offer sponsorship).

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI/ML applications in assessment or education.
  • Familiarity with automated scoring systems and adaptive testing algorithms.
  • Experience working with large-scale data environments and digital assessment platforms.
