CAD Designer (CATIA V6)

What you will do

• Develop components and systems from initial concept through to mass production.
• Create and maintain 3D models and layouts using CATIA V5 and V6.
• Execute complex hose, pipe, harness, and cable routing.
• Prepare, check, and release 2D and 3D drawings utilizing GD&T for proper fit and function.
• Perform design feasibility studies, cost analysis, strength calculations, and material selection.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to support prototype builds and launch.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional engineering design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 (must) and CATIA V6 (preferred).
• Experience in concept development, specification setting, and layout creation.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and part construction.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Raymond, Ohio, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Familiarity with PLM and engineering change processes.
