What you will do

• Design electrical control systems and provide PLC & HMI programming for machine control.
• Deliver technical support for manufacturing and assist with in-house builds of automotive test systems.
• Define system requirements, operations, and schedule planning in coordination with customers and project managers.
• Perform machine start-ups and coordinate installation services.
• Program and troubleshoot control systems working alongside assembly and engineering teams.
• Mentor and train other Controls and Electrical Engineers.

Requirements

• BSEE with emphasis on controls or systems design.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Proficiency with AB and Siemens PLCs (Mitsubishi, GE, Omron are pluses).
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
• Basic understanding of industrial networking, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Ability to use AutoCAD or EPLAN to create electrical print sets and maintain bills of material.
