Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Azure)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Occasional remote work is available across Poland and internationally for up to 24 domestic and 20 international days per year, subject to internal policy.

Compensation ranges are disclosed at the initial stage of candidate engagement. The role includes a base salary with an annual bonus structure.

What you will do

• Operate and enhance mission-critical Azure cloud-native products and services for new and existing clients.
• Improve monitoring, observability, reliability, performance, and service quality in collaboration with product development and DevOps teams.
• Manage infrastructure deployment pipelines and resolve onboarding and operational issues.
• Build automation and tools to reduce manual toil, improve developer experience, and increase system reliability.
• Define SLOs and error budgets, perform capacity planning, and execute disaster recovery and platform-readiness activities.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management, including rotational regular and evening shifts and weekend or on-call support.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM, and Terraform.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Datadog, Log Analytics, OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and synthetic monitoring with Playwright or an equivalent tool.
• Experience integrating identity providers such as Azure Entra ID, Okta, Keycloak, or PingFederate, and implementing SAML, OAuth, and OIDC access protocols.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, KQL, vulnerability remediation, Kubernetes, Docker, APIs, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, ITIL/ITSM knowledge, and experience managing onboarding projects and live production operations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension and Salesforce.
• Experience with AI/ML-based anomaly detection and tools such as Azure Anomaly Detector.
