Senior Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Hybrid work in Poznań, Wrocław, Opole, Gdańsk, Lublin, Warszawa, Kraków, or Katowice, Poland

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale cloud infrastructure primarily on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Bicep.
• Support migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud and platform modernization initiatives.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud and application deployments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud services while collaborating on architecture, security, networking, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in large-scale IT and cloud environments, with hands-on experience in at least one cloud solution.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and understanding of cloud networking, security, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or OpenStack.
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, plus experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized cloud applications.
• Availability for hybrid work from one of the listed Polish locations is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service or other managed Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with AWS, basic exposure to GCP, and cloud migration or modernization projects.
• Knowledge of container security, observability, Linux or Windows administration, storage, or clustering technologies.
• Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, or other relevant cloud certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, CKA, or CKAD.
