What you will do

• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and analytical models for ML and operational use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science and engineering, to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Promote the adoption of technical standards and engineering effectiveness within development squads.
• Ensure strict data governance, including lineage, cataloging, and access controls.
• Explore and integrate AI-assisted analytics and machine learning capabilities into data products.

Requirements

• Experience developing actionable and scalable data products in an enterprise environment.
• Expertise in SQL technologies such as Spark, Dremio, or Teradata.
• Proficiency with Python, GitHub, and data orchestration tools like Airflow or Oozie.
• Strong knowledge of BI frameworks and visualization tools, specifically Tableau.
• University degree (2:1 or higher) in a quantitative discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in the UK to satisfy hybrid office requirements in London and Welwyn Garden City.
