Head of Analytics - Commercial

What you will do

• Lead, prioritise, coordinate, and review the work of the UK commercial and marketing data analytics team.
• Generate customer and competitor insights to influence UK and global commercial strategy.
• Partner strategically with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, and Energy Markets teams.
• Enable smooth, rapid, and regulation-compliant pricing changes across the energy business.
• Define business KPIs and create intuitive dashboards covering churn, campaign performance, and customer lifetime value.
• Coordinate global data teams while balancing local requirements with international opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience managing a high-performing data team.
• Hands-on expertise with modern data platforms and analytical tools, especially SQL and Python.
• Ability to combine hands-on data analysis with team leadership and insight delivery.
• Strong communication skills for influencing non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Strong commercial acumen, preferably in pricing, margin optimisation, or growth analytics.
• Track record of delivering actionable insights with measurable business impact.
