What you will do

• Lead and evolve the Databricks analytics platform for scalable, governed data.
• Manage and optimise data workflows across Databricks and BigQuery, including migrations.
• Design and implement scalable, reusable data models and transformation layers using SQL and Python.
• Develop core analytical datasets for customer, behavioural, and reporting layers.
• Support BI solutions in Tableau and Google Data Studio with performant connections and dashboards.
• Enable analysts via data access, query optimisation, and best practices; manage platform configurations.
• Partner with stakeholders to standardise metrics and contribute to AI-assisted data initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Analytics Engineering or data modelling/BI engineering with platform ownership.
• Expertise designing robust data pipelines, modular models, and scalable datasets in cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on with Databricks, BigQuery, advanced SQL (Python a plus).
• Experience across data lifecycle: ingestion, transformation, modelling, visualisation.
• Delivery of production-grade BI outputs (Tableau, Looker Studio) and semantic layers.
• Platform administration, performance optimisation, data quality, governance.
• Stakeholder collaboration with Data Engineering, Analytics, and regional teams.
