What you will do

• Define and execute the commercial category strategy and go-to-market plans across the DACH region.
• Drive category performance and KPI management across category, sub-category, and product levels.
• Develop and optimize competitive pricing and promotion strategies through data-driven experiments.
• Own the onsite commercial merchandising strategy to improve customer discovery and conversion.
• Lead and develop a small team with direct accountability for commercial results and growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads including CRM, Paid Marketing, and Vendor Management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce with strong category ownership.
• Track record of leading a small team while owning overall category strategy.
• Strong commercial acumen and a data-driven, analytical mindset.
• Minimum B1 German and strong English proficiency.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the Munich office (60% attendance required).
