TL;DR

Location: Must live within commuting distance of either the Berlin, Germany or London, UK hubs

What you will do

  • Define the strategic vision and category strategy for the German e-commerce landscape based on consumer culture and market data.
  • Manage and develop a generalist team of launchers responsible for seller onboarding, influencer activation, and community events.
  • Lead the end-to-end launch of new verticals from initial hypothesis and validation through to growth ramp.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering to unlock platform features for category success.
  • Act as the primary internal voice of the German market, providing local context and on-the-ground seller insights to leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in fast-paced, client-facing roles such as Strategy Consulting, VC, PE, or tech partnerships.
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Experience as a zero-to-one builder launching new products, categories, or markets from scratch.
  • Fluency in German and English and deep understanding of DACH region consumer culture and e-commerce dynamics.
  • Strong analytical skills to define success metrics and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Based in or within commuting distance of Berlin or London.

  • Experience with two-sided platforms and marketplace dynamics.
  • Passion for creator communities and live e-commerce.
  • Experience scaling a category or market across multiple European countries.
  • Existing network within German collector, fashion, or enthusiast communities.
