What you will do

• Architect and deploy AI agents and copilots to augment employee workflows by integrating with internal systems.
• Manage the end-to-end AI lifecycle, including model selection, prompt design, retrieval strategies, and conversational interfaces.
• Determine the most effective solution for business problems, choosing between LLMs, classical ML, or rule-based approaches.
• Build and maintain scalable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and context systems for high-quality grounding.
• Rapidly prototype new agent capabilities and harden successful proofs-of-concept for enterprise production.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers to shape best practices for AI agent development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software or ML engineering building large-scale production systems.
• Proven experience designing and deploying LLM-based AI systems in real-world applications.
• Strong backend engineering skills in Python or Java, including API design and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Expertise in RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) or function-calling architectures.
• Experience deploying AI systems on AWS, with a focus on observability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Ability to work from the specified office locations in California.
