What you will do

• Set the architectural direction for agentic systems and the intelligence layer, resolving systemic gaps in reliability and scalability.
• Design and own complex, cross-cutting product areas, including agent orchestration and retrieval systems.
• Lead the evolution of LLM infrastructure, covering models, prompts, guardrails, and feedback loops.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design leadership to shape the AI roadmap and translate vision into technical strategies.
• Create reusable platforms and tooling to multiply team velocity and mentor the next generation of senior engineers.
• Evaluate and adopt cutting-edge LLM and agent research to maintain technical leadership in vertical AI.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience shipping production software, with 3+ years leading complex AI/ML systems.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, Python, and distributed system design.
• Proven track record of shipping LLM-powered products at enterprise scale.
• Mastery of RAG, retrieval architectures, vector databases, and embedding pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agent frameworks such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or LangGraph.
• Experience influencing technical direction across multiple teams and mentoring senior engineers.
