Agentic AI Developer (AI): Building and deploying Agentic AI systems to process massive datasets for the Air Force with an accent on agentic frameworks, LLMs, and RAG. Focus on designing production-grade software, implementing MLOps, and creating secure data foundations on cloud platforms.

Location: Remote (USA). Must be based in the US and have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Salary: $99,000.00 - $225,000.00 (annualized USD)

What you will do

• Train, test, deploy, and maintain AI models that learn from data to optimize organizational efficiency for the Air Power team.
• Define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying cutting-edge Agentic frameworks.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and architects to transform how the Air Force manages daily business operations.
• Translate tacit knowledge from domain SMEs into explicit playbooks, decision logic, and human-in-the-loop tools.
• Implement MLOps and DevSecOps practices in constrained or regulated environments.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java with APIs (FastAPI, Flask, REST, GraphQL) and SQL.
• 2+ years of experience developing and deploying AI applications (LLMs, RAG, GraphRAG, agentic workflows, or tool-calling).
• Experience building secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms like AWS.
• Proficiency in event-driven integrations and workflow automation (asynchronous messaging, job orchestration).
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with geospatial/3D data (LiDAR, point clouds) or digital-twin data models.
• Knowledge of vector databases, knowledge graphs, or semantic search.
• Experience with IoT telemetry and edge-to-cloud flows (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
• Experience deploying pipelines in disconnected, air-gapped, or classified environments.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) in DoD environments.
• Experience with computer vision and multimodal analytics pipelines.
