Location: Must be based in the USA (Remote/Hybrid options available in Arlington, VA and San Antonio, TX)

Salary: $77,600 - $176,000 per year

What you will do

• Train, test, deploy, and maintain AI models that learn from massive organizational datasets.
• Define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying cutting-edge Agentic frameworks.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and architects to deliver solutions for the Air Force.
• Build secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms (AWS) using data mesh-style products.
• Implement MLOps and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and model monitoring.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java.
• Experience with APIs and data services (FastAPI, Flask, REST, GraphQL, or SQL).
• Proven track record deploying AI applications such as LLMs, RAG, GraphRAG, or tool-calling.
• Experience with AWS, governed ingest, and metadata management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science.
• Secret clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with geospatial or 3D data (LiDAR, point clouds) or digital twins.
• Knowledge of vector databases, knowledge graphs, or semantic search.
• Experience with Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ for IoT telemetry and sensor streams.
• Capability to deploy software in disconnected, air-gapped, or classified environments.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Terraform in DoD environments.
