AI Engineering Intern (AI): Building and deploying AI-powered customer support systems, automation workflows, and LLM integrations using Claude Enterprise and ChatGPT Enterprise with an accent on prompt engineering, enterprise tool integrations, and operational efficiency. Focus on designing and shipping production-ready AI solutions for customer support, professional services implementations, managed services, and knowledge systems.
Location: Austin, TX (In-office Tues/Wed/Thurs). Must be currently enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin.

What you will do
- Leverage Claude Enterprise and ChatGPT Enterprise to design and deploy practical AI solutions for operational use cases.
- Assist with prompt engineering, custom configurations, and AI tool optimization for Operations team needs.
- Partner with Operations to audit workflows and identify automation opportunities.
- Build and test automated workflows for onboarding, reporting, data entry, vendor management, and communications.
- Evaluate additional AI tools and maintain documentation for automation builds.
- Present updates to stakeholders and participate in team standups and planning.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at UT Austin as a junior/senior or graduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science/Data Analytics, AI, or relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with Claude (Anthropic) including enterprise features like custom instructions, projects, skills, and knowledge management.
- Understanding of prompt engineering best practices and applying LLMs to business processes.
- Familiarity with Python for scripting, API integrations, or data manipulation.
Nice to have
- Student in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Concentration.
- Familiarity with Zendesk or PM tools.
- Experience with Anthropic Claude API or OpenAI API.
- Exposure to workflow automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or Power Automate.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, or data pipelines.
- Experience with no-code/low-code platforms.
