TL;DR

Technical Account Manager (MSP): Managing technical relationships and strategic IT planning for client accounts with an accent on IT infrastructure and Microsoft enterprise platforms. Focus on conducting high-level consultations, creating technology roadmaps, and translating technical concepts into business value.

Location: Seattle, WA. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (No sponsorship).

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 base + commission/bonus structure

What you will do

  • Act as a trusted advisor (vCIO) for 20–30 client accounts, conducting quarterly strategic consultations.
  • Develop strategic technology roadmaps and IT maturity assessments to align IT initiatives with business goals.
  • Create detailed scopes of work for IT systems, hardware, and software implementations.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions with stakeholders to ensure client retention and growth.
  • Collaborate with internal engineers and project teams to support a shared client base.
  • Guide IT engineers and field staff on technical implementation and support.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft enterprise platforms and general IT infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for clients.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills and experience engaging with business leaders.
  • Ability to create strategic technology roadmaps and conduct needs assessments.

Nice to have

  • IT certifications such as Net+, MCP, MCA, MCSE, Cloud, or Firewall certifications.
  • Prior experience as an IT Project Engineer, Helpdesk Manager, or IT Sales Consultant.
