What you will do

  • Own the front-end strategy for the audience platform that powers every digital experience across the entire brand portfolio.
  • Balance the needs of end-readers with the requirements of internal developer teams to ensure best-in-class consumer experiences.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to make architecture trade-offs and write detailed technical specifications.
  • Define and track platform health metrics, including page performance, SEO, ad delivery, and developer experience.
  • Integrate AI into platform workflows, focusing on component generation, QA, and design-to-code pipelines.
  • Benchmark performance and quality against top global publishers to maintain a high standard of editorial instinct and metrics rigor.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product management, with significant experience in platform or infrastructure products.
  • Deep understanding of front-end technology, including rendering, performance optimization, and component architecture.
  • Proven consumer product instincts with experience in engagement, retention, and content quality.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising and its intersection with UX and front-end performance.
  • Ability to drive alignment across large organizations and multiple teams with competing priorities.
  • Must be based in New York, NY.

Nice to have

  • Experience working within a media or publishing company.
  • Hands-on experience with design systems (Figma, Storybook, design tokens).
  • Practical experience shaping product strategy around AI capabilities.
