What you will do
- Provide 24/7/365 Tier 3 technical support for critical facility infrastructure to ensure stability and efficiency.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and oversight of AC/DC power systems, UPS, battery plants, generators, and ATS/STS systems.
- Identify, document, and prioritize infrastructure deficiencies and end-of-life equipment for replacement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-functional projects, providing technical guidance and problem solving.
- Support disaster recovery efforts and maintain accurate business continuity documentation for assigned sites.
- Manage capacity planning and provide technical troubleshooting training to field technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with critical infrastructure, electrical systems, and AC/DC power equipment.
- Ability to lead teams, vendors, and contractors on large-scale projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical requirements.
- Solid working knowledge of computing and internet technologies.
- Must be based in or able to work in the Charlotte, NC area for hybrid arrangements.
