Systems Engineer III, Datacenter Operations

What you will do

• Provide expertise on hardware deployments, build rack elevations, and deploy hardware with internal service teams.
• Lead projects to rack/install new hardware, decommission old hardware, and manage hardware lifecycle.
• Maintain Data Center Asset Management system, hardware monitoring platform, and deploy firmware updates.
• Monitor data center environment, power infrastructure for capacity planning, and respond to support requests.
• Troubleshoot P0 incidents in a 24/7 mission-critical environment and work with facilities for hardware shipping/receiving.
• Build port configurations with network teams and keep data center organized and efficient.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• 7+ years supporting Enterprise Data Centers
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent understanding of modern server and networking hardware (Dell, HP, Cisco, Arista)
• Server+ or Network+ certification or equivalent; strong background in network architecture and server provisioning
• Knowledge of DCIM solutions, SSH/remote access, familiarity with automation and observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Excellent verbal/communication, documentation, and peer review skills

• Experience with Linux
• Language ability (Python, Go)
