TL;DR

Field Services Technician II (Healthcare): Providing front-line technical support and onsite resource management for healthcare clients with an accent on hardware deployment, network troubleshooting, and end-user support. Focus on resolving technical issues in real-time, performing site assessments, and maintaining system stability across multiple regional sites.

Location: Onsite daily in West Des Moines, IA. Travel required to additional client locations across Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota.

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary onsite technical support resource for end users at a corporate office and regional sites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues while managing tickets according to SLAs.
  • Perform site assessments, hardware installations, and deployment of PCs and networking equipment.
  • Support Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based systems such as Azure and AWS.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation in IT Glue and adhere to change management standards.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk and Engineering teams for issue escalation and provide guidance to junior technicians.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work onsite daily in West Des Moines, IA.
  • Ability to travel regionally across Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support or field services.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting users in a professional environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Nice to have

  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications.
  • Experience with MSP tools (RMM, ticketing systems).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with basic networking and infrastructure support.
