What you will do

• Drive design and analysis of dual-rail quantum processors, including qubits, couplers, readout, quantum-limited amplifiers, and circuit elements
• Apply quantum device physics and circuit theory to enhance performance, robustness, and scalability
• Support RF and microwave engineering for control, readout, and system integration
• Lead exploratory pathfinding projects for future processor generations
• Collaborate with fabrication, mechanical, and assembly teams for manufacturing compatibility
• Work with measurement teams to define protocols and metrics for new designs
• Develop tools and workflows for circuit design, simulation, and analysis
• Generate technical documentation for team decisions

Requirements

• PhD with post-doc or MS with 3+ years in physics, applied physics, electrical engineering or related
• Experience in superconducting quantum devices, device physics, circuit modeling, RF/microwave engineering
• Expertise in electromagnetic simulation tools, circuit simulators, layout tools
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary environment across theory, design, fabrication, test
• Clear technical communication skills, written and verbal
